I've been doing a lot of work in Exchange 2013 lately and Microsoft have made it pretty clear that the web is the future.
Now the Domino Web Admin client is a bit clunky, but seriously it is very functional and light years ahead of its time (when it was first released). So, rather than fix a security issue in it, IBM has chosen to kill it off.
I find that at complete odds with what I'd like them to do.
Anyone got a clue as to why they chose this way forward ?

It is cheaper. I expect you will see a lot more of this in the future.
Well, since we have native, rich client methods for N/D administrative tasks on Windows, Mac, and Linux, there isn't a need to keep webadmin.nsf around any longer. Oh, wait...
Just out of curiosity -- I'm not involved with admin much at all -- what would be the effect of keeping the current latest/final version of webadmin.nsf and trying to keep using it on future Domino versions?
I have a weird suspicion. The developer who wrote Webadmin is not anymore in IBM. Maybe now they have no clue on how to fix it.
