Do U.S. tariffs apply to HCL Software in the United States?
As I understand it, HCL is an Indian company. The USA recently announced a 50% tariff on Indian goods. Does anyone know if this is affecting HCL Software in the USA?

I am not a lawyer, nor do I know of possible specifics related to India. Just thought I would add that between Europe and the US, digital goods are not affected to my knowledge. The moment software were shipped (via DVD, CD, USB Stick or such) on physical media, tariffs would apply. My assumption would be that the same could apply to any country. Also, to my knowledge their are no tariffs processes in place for digital goods which would first have to be put in place (such as declaration forms). Physical goods have all processes in place already, even if you just send a postal package.

HCL America is a different entity for the purposes of CFIUS and within the USA
