Configuring Preemptive AI to use Domino IQ

Preemptive AI is designed to complement Domino IQ. Straight out of the box.

It will add 11 very handy ultra productivity improvement -you're going to love it.

What's more, integrating Preemptive AI into Domino IQ is beyond easy!

All that is required in Domino IQ is a one System and Command Prompt.

Those settings will provide 11 new features, with endless possibilities moving forward.

Here are all the details.

More soon.

We’ve counted the votes—11 default instructions with the initial release of Preemptive AI!

Well, the votes are in (actually, no one voted, so we’ve made the executive decision). There will be 11 instructions in our first release of Preemptive AI for Domino.

  1. AI - Proofread: Polishes your text by correcting grammar and spelling errors without altering the content.
  2. AI - Improve \ Enhance: Enhances your text by fixing grammar and adding value where the LLM sees fit, aiming for the best possible result.
  3. AI - Improve \ Expand: Builds upon the "Best Effort" option by not only improving grammar but also adding relevant content to enrich the message.
  4. AI - Improve \ Friendly: Adjusts the tone of your writing to be more approachable and friendly – basically, it helps you "take a chill pill" in your emails.
  5. AI - Improve \ Banter: This was a fun one. Basically take the supplied text and turn it into a conversational tone with your best friend, full of playful humour.
  6. AI - Translate \ English: Translates the selected text into English.
  7. AI - Translate \ German: Translates the selected text into German.
  8. AI - Translate \ Japanese: Translates the selected text into Japanese.
  9. AI - Ask: Directly pose a question to the LLM and receive a concise answer.
  10. AI - Draft Reply: Generates a draft reply based on the content of the email thread.
  11. AI - Summarize Reply: Analyzes the email thread and provides a summary of the key points and suggested actions.

At the end of the day, there are endless possibilities for what we could add, and we think this is a great mix. That said, we'd love to hear suggestions on what to do next.

Preemptive AI is planned to “soft launch”  on Monday 7 July Australia time. Stay tunned.

What's your go-to model?

What's your go-to model? So many models…

Ha ha – not those models.

No matter how good your LLM server is, if the model you’re running isn't up to the task, then the results are going to be bad.

At the moment, I’m still testing out lots of different models, but I've found a nice balance with google/gemma-3-4b (3.03GB)

For more complex jobs maybe llama3.1 (8.55GB) or google/gemma-3-12b (8.07GB)

So, what’s working for you?
