8.5 Mac beta - one nasty bug wreaks the party.

I've been testing the 8.5 Mac beta and it is a lot better than the Jan release.

It comes in two flavors. Standard and Basic. The Standard client (a.k.a Java the Hut) is still too slow to use day to day. The Basic client is nice and fast but a nasty drag and drop bug that requires a reboot has stopped me from using it.

Bring on beta 2.

Lotus Collaboration and Portal Conference (Lotus Fusion) - dates have been posted

IBM has posted details of the Lotus Collaboration and Portal Conference in Sydney. I think this is Lotus Fusion returning, but the details are very thin on the website.

It costs more that Lotusphere, so I guess they are planning BIG things. I wonder what theme park we get to go too?
