Two IBM love letters in one day

Today I received two 'love letters': 

1. An offer to buy an IBM  Express server for SMBs.... comes with Microsoft Small Business Server - yep with Exchange...no option for Domino.

2. An email from IBM telling us we can no longer sell renewals on DB2 software because we aren't certified. Our Vault products supports DB2 and it is one of our preferred databases.

I think the planning process for Fusion is underway, so if you think it is a good idea, tell IBM Australia now. 

Has anyone deployed a Notes 8 roaming solution ?

Every single enterprise account I know uses a roaming solution (other than IBM). Most use a network drive to store the data directory, and some use a copy down/copy back script.

I’d love to here from anyone that has implemented a ND8 roaming solution. What did you do and how did it go?.

I know a new roaming solution has been promised in 8.5, but what do we do in the meantime. A number of organisations do not want to wait, so what should they do ?

What does IBM recommend for Roaming users that want to deploy 8.01 ?
